Frequently Asked Questions

What the heck is Terra Fluvia?
According to wikipedia (and Latin), Terra Fluvia means River Earth. Hey, we have both of those things! Also, our last names start with T and F, so it works on multiple levels. Sweet.

Are you open to the public?
No, we’re not open to the public for u-pick, and we don’t sell berries by the pound. We use a membership model – you can read more about it here.

Are you certified organic?
We are not certified organic, but we use organic practices. We are 100% no spray, and do not add any synthetic fertilizers or pesticides of any kind (our free range chickens and other wildlife do some natural fertilizing, though). Since 2019, we’ve had a guest beehive on site to help out with pollination. The berries are happy with this arrangement, so we don’t plan on changing our practices anytime soon.

Can I bring my dog?
Maybe! We understand wanting to bring your pup with you. Any dog visitors will need to be on-leash, and under your control at all times. If your dog would be cool with that, then great! If not, please leave your dog at home.

Do you have different blueberry varieties? What are they?
We do have several different varieties, but unfortunately we don’t know what they are. Our berries are Northern highbush blueberries, but we have not been able to determine precisely which variety is which (though we can tell you where to go, depending on what kind of berry you like). Our berries tend to ripen slightly later than many others in the Willamette Valley. You can read more about the berries here.

Can I pay for my membership online?
Yes! You can pay online via Venmo or Paypal.

How do I get to Terra Fluvia?
We are located at:
31359 Bryant Way SW
Albany, OR 97321

And here are detailed driving directions.

Does the driveway go all the way around?
Yep, sure does! Feel free to use the loop instead of turning around.

Can we access your farm via the river?
Yes – feel free to paddle or float your way over! Please give us a heads up first, though.
